As a "technical creative" JavaScript expert your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the development of rich internet browser, tablet and mobile application interfaces.
Working closely with the Java and Database Team who will provide the JAVA web services that you will interact with
· Working with the Development Manager to determine the design and technologies for web UI that meet business requirements
· Developing new features and functions to high quality and agreed specification
· Providing 3rd level support to the professional services team and support desk.

You will have worked on a Rich Internet Application,the ability to blend technical know-how with creative flair and a keen eye for design and usability, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JSON etc, experience of various JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Prototype, EXT-JS), experience developing web UI for service oriented architecture, understanding of MVC architecture and previous experience of working with Web Services/WSDL and SOAP/XML.

This exciting Java Developer position offers a unique chance to work with latest technologies. Person taking on this role will be responsible for development of SOA system to support new RIA interfaces and its features.
The system is and will be reliant on the web services so knowledge of traditional SOAP/XML and modern REST/JSON web services is essential. Knowledge of Perl is not essential, but would be beneficial. The set of existing features and business logic have to be migrated, reviewed and improved during the re-designing phase. The system is heavily reliant on the databases thus strong knowledge of SQL/JPA/Hibernate is essential in order to write database(vendor) agnostic code.
